“Biggest Ever” Cary July 4th Celebration at Koka Booth Amphitheatre


In our second part of the “Independence Day series”, we will focus on the Cary July 4th Celebration at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. In contrast to our first article, these events take place in the early afternoon through night time on July 4. Similarly, however, is the fact that both the events at the Arts Center and Bond Park and these have become Cary Independence Day traditions.

Koka Booth to Be Location for “Biggest Ever” Cary July 4th Celebration

Starting at 3:00 p.m. and continuing until a scheduled 10:00 p.m finish, Koka Booth Amphitheatre takes over the days’ events upon completion at Bond Park. According to townofcary.org, this years’ Cary July 4th Celebration at Koka Booth is set to be bigger and better than ever.

“Celebrate our nation’s birthday in spectacular style at Booth Amphitheatre for the area’s biggest Independence Day celebration ever.” It continues, “Enjoy the beautiful setting and patriotic performances with the Cary Town Band and the North Carolina Symphony in what promises to make guests proud to be an American.”

In addition to musical performances, there will also be family-friendly activities and performances all day long. Finally, the Cary July 4th Celebration will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display.

Koka Booth July 4th Schedule of Events

  • 3:00 pm– Gates Open, attendees can set out blankets, lawn chairs, etc. on the lawn
  • 3:00- 5:00 pm– Live DJ for music and dancing
  • 3:00-7:00 pm– Kids’ Activities and Rides (50 ft. Ferris Wheel, “Berry-Go-Round, Magicians and live performances)
  • 4:30-6:00 pm– Ice Cream Eating Contests
  • 5:45-6:45 pm– Cary Town Band on Koka Booth Main Stage
  • 7:30- 8:30 pm– NC Symphony on Koka Booth Main Stage
  • 9:00- finish– July 4 Fireworks Display

“Pub Tickets” and Lawn Seating for July 4th Celebration at Koka Booth

The general admission seating on the spacious lawn at Koka Booth is free to the public and no tickets are required. However, there are “Special Reserved Seating” tickets that can be purchased for this event but must be purchased in blocks of 4.

More specifically the “blocks of 4” seating is at 4-seat pub tables and cost $160 for the entire table. Each 4-seat table purchased will receive several complimentary gifts. These include:

  • A Free Preferred Parking Pass
  • Pint of Lumpy’s Ice Cream
  • A loaf of Star Spangled Swirl Bread from the Great Harvest Bread Company.

Much like the event venues of earlier in the day, Koka Booth Amphitheatre is only a quick drive from your new luxury home at Preston Retreat. It is located at 8003 Regency Parkway in Cary.
