Cary NC Summer Events Schedule is “Red Hot” at Koka Booth Ampitheatre

The concerts, movies and world-class entertainment that makes up the Cary NC Summer Events schedule looks to be “red hot” in the coming months at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. With an array of talent in a variety of genres, every member of your new household at the Preston Retreat new luxury home neighborhood is sure to be tapping their toes or clapping along to their favorite performers.

NC Summer Events: Symphony, Summerfest, and “All That Jazz”

The Cary NC Summer Events schedule at Koka Booth actually is set to start up this upcoming week. As is tradition each Summer, there will be several concert series’ taking place at the Amphitheatre. Consequently, the “Movies by Moonlight” outdoor movie nights are also sure to be a hit in the coming weeks.

The Josh Cellars Jazz Series at Koka Booth

Coming back for a sixth straight year will be the soothing sounds of the Josh Cellars Jazz Series. Shows will take place Wednesday evenings in May and feature either local and regional talent. All seating and music will take place on the spacious Crescent Deck creating a casual environment to relax and mingle with friends.

The Koka Booth website assures all the jazz fans in the area that, “Josh Cellars Jazz Series at Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre promises a mid-week retreat sure to relax and inspire.

The full lineup for the 2019 Jazz Series as part of Koka Booth Amphitheatre’s Cary NC Summer Events calendar is below. Each performence will be on a Wednesday night.

  • Kate McGarry- Wednesday, May 15, 5:30-8:30 pm
  • Steve Hobbs- Wednesday, May 22, 5:30-8:30 pm
  • Peter Lamb and the Wolves- Wednesday, May 29, 5:30-8:30 pm

NC Symphony Summerfest

The North Carolina Symphony will also be returning to Cary’ for a summer of great music and family fun. Running from May 25 – July 20 these shows are always a favorite among Cary NC Summer Events.

Summerfest is more than music, as the entire atmosphere at the Summerfest shows is special. Some may opt for a picnic as they soak in the sounds of the NC Symphony. With special guests and kid-friendly activities like the popular “Instrument Zoo.”

NC Symphony Music Director, Grant Llewellyn spoke of the special atmosphere at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. He actually expressed it was among the finest to play at nationwide.

“There is a wonderful dynamic at Booth which outclasses most other outdoor venues in the US.” Llewellyn added, “People feel engaged and involved in this outdoor informal setting and they can hear and appreciate great music in the great outdoors.”
